It’s Saturday! David is at his men’s homegroup meeting and Shay’el is watching PB&J Otter and dusting….well, she’s playing with the feather duster anyway, LOL. This is my first attempt at a weblog, maybe I’ll be better at keeping it up than I am at writing in a paper journal. Let’s start out by introducing myself and my family for those who may view this. My name is Makeesha, I’m 24, I’m a SAHM (part time WAHM doing web design, graphic design and desktop publishing) to Shay’el Moriah who was born on April 20, 2002. My husband is David, he works at Group Publishing in account acquisition. We attend Blue Sky Church, a new church plant in Loveland, CO. I am the director of organization and implementation at BSC and I also teach in the 7-11 year old class. David teaches periodically in the services to give Joe a break and also teaches the 7-11 year olds.
I guess I would say that I am in the process of re-self discovery. Over the past couple of months I have discovered a real unsettled-ness (my word). I have really lost touch with my passions and desires so I hope that journaling and a lot of prayer will help me rediscover what makes me tick. David has been a great encouragement in this, helping me to sort through some of my feelings. I must say that I have the best husband ever, being married to a communications major is definitely a bonus LOL.
I think I’ll go play with Shay’el now.
